Skillshare is for creative skills like animation, photography, film, interior design, social media and more. Most of these courses are in video format and a subscription is around 19 per month or 99 dollars for a whole year.
Masterclass is also a subscription based model where you can learn from the best of the best for only 15 dollars per month.
Coursera offers real academic courses from professors and universities. The costs are much much less then these real academic courses. The cheapest courses are around 30 dollars and increase from there. Sometimes they offer discounts to buy multiple courses at once.
EdX was founded by Harvard and MIT and therefore recommended for it’s prestige. These are college courses by real college professors and they teach everything there is to teach at Harvard and MIT as well.
Udacity is the platform for you if you want to learn new tech skills. It focuses on programs where there are multiple lessons to be taken. Most of the programs take around six months of party time study. Depending on the subject. The price for these programs is around 400 dollars.
