For example, you only have to unpack your suitcase once, but you visit several places. You can also opt for a cruise where you can see cities, beaches as well as nature reserves in the same trip. In addition, it is easy to meet new people on board and there are many fun activities for all ages. The only question that remains is, where does the trip go to? Rhine river cruise

The river Rhine is with 1233 kilometers one of the longest rivers in Europe. It originates in the Swiss Alps and flows from Switzerland to France, Germany and the Netherlands. The Rhine has always been of great importance for European trade since Roman times. As a result, this river has beautiful cities with rich histories.

The water of the Rhine is very calcareous, which is a very suitable soil for plants to grow on. The nature around this river is fantastic!

Rüdesheim, Alsace and Cologne

During a Rhine cruise there are some unforgettable excursions that you can do. For example, a city walk through the German town Rüdesheim. The town of Rüdesheim is located in a romantic area along the Rhine that is part of UNESCO World Heritage. The area is very suitable for walking and cycling or visit one of the castles. The city has a beautiful medieval centre and is known for the many wine bars that are often located in historic half-timbered houses.

Or choose a Mediterranean cruise that passes by the Italian city of Pisa. This beautiful ancient art-rich city has an authentic Tuscan atmosphere. Seine river cruise

The French river Seine rises from Dijon and during the cruise you will visit cities such as Rouen, Le Havre and of course - Paris. Danube river cruise

The Danube River is the second longest river in Europe, after the Volga river. This river is 2829 km long and flows from the German alps through 10 countries in Eastern Europe into the Black Sea. Cities such as Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest are situated along this breathtaking river. During a Danube cruise it is very worthwhile to visit these cities.

Vienna, the capital of Austria is a very popular destination for city trips. Visit Schönbrunn Castle here. An impressive large palace with a rich history. It is considered to be the most important cultural monument of Austria. Or go to the world famous Vienna State Opera. The Schönbrunn Palace garden is home to one of the oldest zoos in the world. At Tiergarten Schönbrunn Zoo you can enjoy nature and history at the same time.

Another noteworthy stop would be the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. Here you can walk over the bridge Novy Most. This bridge features a UFO style building at it’s top where there is a restaurant located. Here you can enjoy spectacular views over the riverbank and district of Petrzalka. Visit the blue church built in 1910 in Art Nouveau style. Or stroll through Bratislava's entirely intact historic city centre.

Last but not least, you will visit the Hungarian capital Budapest. Be surprised by the Hungarian Castle the Castle of Buda. Also enjoy the large spa Szechenyi baths. Relax here in one of the many indoor or outdoor pools. It’s worth to visit the Fisherman’s Bastion. A fortress with towers that gives you a full view over Budapest.
